AI engineer, PhD in Computer Science, having important experience of working on various research and development projects, in charge of DATALAB, an innovation platform of ESTIA on AI applied to agriculture, health, and industry. Academic director and lecturer of the MSc BIHAR, Big Data & AI, which has been running at ESTIA since 2020, Evgeniya has more than 10 years of experience in teaching, supervising students’ projects, and academic management in higher education.

  • Head of DATALAB: initiating and conducting projects in the field of AI applied to agriculture, healthcare, and industry. Current projects: o Deep Farm (European funding): development of a generic platform for data fusion (IoT, images from drones and satellites), analysis (disease detection, watering optimization, etc.), and presentation, based on pilot farms in Turkey (olives), Madagascar (rice), Ivory Coast (cocoa), Haiti (strawberries and mangoes), and Dominican Republic (bananas). o Healthcare: analysis of health insurance data (antibiotic prescriptions, etc.) with Oracle France.
  • Academic Director of the MSc BIHAR, Big Data & AI: o Curriculum management and continuous improvement, o Giving lectures and supervising projects on ML/DL, software development, and MLOps, supervising students’ final projects and internships, o Realizing specific training modules on AI, such as AI applied to healthcare (HealthTEK project) o Working on new specializations on the applied AI (agriculture, healthcare) in the framework of European collaborative projects
